While out shopping with my wife I saw these succulents in the garden centre and bought a few. Now I needed to make a Succulent Planter!

I took a piece of scrap walnut and created a geometric shape by cutting a 5-degree angle on all edges.

I drilled three 1 1/2″ holes in the top evenly spaced and just deep enough to fit the pants. I would guess somewhere around 2 inches deep.

After some sanding, while listening to I was listing to the Making It podcast. I applied some mineral oil and a beeswax finish.

This walnut scrap ended up having some beautiful figure in it!

PS: Don’t use compressed air to blow dirt off your plants ๐Ÿ˜
